Professor Ghanem focuses on novel computational 3D action recognition methods and tools for artificial vision systems to capture and process visual information. His extended body of work is at the forefront of future city design and optimization as well as security monitoring. Ghanem is the father of cutting-edge avatars for environmental and archaeological investigation, such as the humanoid-diver for underwater archaeological research deeper than 20ms.
